The Marketing Communication Officer will promote DTV’s products and services using all available media as appropriate i.e. digital media/tools etc.
Specific Responsibilities
- Coordinate the design of promotional material and distribute it on new media platforms (social media)
- Run digital ads (Facebook, Instagram, JIJI among others to promote the DTV brand
- Reach out to media outfits that can further promote the DTV brand.
- Produce marketing copy for the website
- Carry out frequent updates on the website as the need arises.
- Craft and send regular newsletters with company updates according to the different segmentation.
- Gather email lists in different segmentation for specific targeting.
- Update email list for marketing efforts.
- Running Marketing automation with the in-house ERP platform.
- Track ROI for marketing campaigns
- Monitor corporate website and social media pages and address clients’ queries
Gather customer feedback through our in-house survey platform to inform sales and product team
Required Competencies, Knowledge and Skills
Familiarity with SEO and SEM marketing.
Hands-on experience with web content management tools
Proficiency in MS Office, internet operations and basic design tools like Canva
Knowledge of Google Analytics and Google My Business
Experience with marketing campaigns on social media (Facebook etc)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good presentation/presentation design skills
Education and Experience
Recognized certification in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or relevant field
Proven work experience (3-4 years) as a Marketing Communications Specialist.
