Attendance Policy
Procedure for Daily Attendance Check-In and Check-Out:
Work Schedule Times: normal working hours will be 8.00am – 5:00pm with lunch break between 12noon and 1.00pm, Mondays to Fridays.
Designated times for employees to check in and check out daily.
- Check-in: 8:00 am
- Check-out: 11:59am
- Check-in: 1:00 pm
- Check-out: 4:59pm
Check-In Methods:
Odoo attendance module
- Log on to your Odoo portal
- Click on the attendance module
- Click on check-in sign or use your unique PIN through the kiosk mode
- Repeat same process to check-out
Note: you can obtain your PIN from the HR unit
Policy:
All employees are hereby informed of this check-in/check-out procedure.
- Always ensure that this task is done daily
- All are encouraged to comply as it will help the company track and analyse movement information with a view to determining deviation causes (where they are extraneous) and make data backed decisions as appropriate.
- Measures have been put in place to track attendance accurately
- Non compliance with these procedures will attract sanctions which may include determination of employment where multiple deviations are recorded.
- Attendance records will be maintained for all employees
- Periodic attendance records will be reviewed to identify pattern and trends
- Employees will be informed appropriately on their attendance records.
- Punctuality and compliance to these procedures will be recognized and rewarded accordingly
Exceptions
The following exceptions are applicable;
- Employees that are on approved time-off i.e. sick leave, training, compensatory days, vacations etc. are exempted within the periods that they are away.
