Marketing and Sales Associate

The Sales & Marketing Associate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales and marketing initiatives to drive business growth across all DTV divisions. This role requires a dynamic individual with a deep understanding of the heavy equipment rental and construction industries, capable of identifying new market opportunities and bringing them in as business, and building strong client relationships.​ 

Responsibilities

  • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape within the heavy equipment rental and construction sectors.​
  • Sales Strategy Development: Formulate and execute effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets across DTV's service offerings.​
  • Client Acquisition & Retention: Identify potential clients, initiate contact, and build lasting relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.​
  • Marketing Campaigns: Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement campaigns that effectively promote DTV's services.​
  • Proposal Preparation: Develop and present compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients, showcasing DTV's capabilities and value propositions.​
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including operations and project management, to ensure seamless service delivery and customer experience.​
  • Reporting: Monitor and report on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions.​

Required Competencies, knowledge and Skills

  • Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.​
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.​
  • Ability to analyze market trends and develop strategic responses.​
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM software.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.​


To excel in this role, the preferred candidate will require;

  • Knowledge of the Nigerian construction and equipment rental market.​
  • Experience in managing marketing campaigns and promotional activities.​
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and social media platforms.​


Education and Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in sales and marketing roles within the heavy equipment rental, construction, or related industries.
